ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO 2011 ASSEMBLY BILL 65

AB65-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB65-AA1,1,2 1. Page 2, line 4: delete "s. 62.53 (2)" and substitute " sub. (30)".

AB65-AA1,1,3 2. Page 2, line 13: delete lines 13 to 23.

AB65-AA1,1,4 3. Page 2, line 23: after that line insert:

AB65-AA1,1,5 " Section 4m. 62.50 (30) of the statutes is created to read:

AB65-AA1,1,8 62.50 (30) Residency requirements. If a 1st class city imposes a residency requirement on police officers or fire fighters, the residency requirement shall at least allow the police officers and fire fighters to live in all of the following:

AB65-AA1,1,9 (a) The county in which the 1st class city is entirely or predominantly located.

AB65-AA1,1,11 (b) Any county that is adjacent to the county in which the 1st class city is entirely or predominantly located.".
