SENATE AMENDMENT 4, TO SENATE SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 1, TO 2011 SENATE BILL 22

SB22-SSA1-SA4,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

SB22-SSA1-SA4,1,10 1. Page 13, line 13: delete lines 13 to 15 and substitute "it under subd. 2. and determine by February 1 whether it wishes to enter into a contact with the governing board of the nonprofit corporation to operate a charter school. If it wishes to do so, it shall notify the school board specified under subd. 1. By March 1, the school board shall either enter into a contract with the governing board of the nonprofit corporation to operate a charter school or deny the application. If the school board denies the application it shall notify the charter school authorizing board, which may proceed to contract with the governing board of the nonprofit corporation to operate a charter school.".
