SENATE AMENDMENT 4, TO 2011 SENATE BILL 411

SB411-SA4,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB411-SA4,1,2 1. Page 4, line 6: delete "(b), if" and substitute "(bn), if".

SB411-SA4,1,4 2. Page 4, line 10: delete the material beginning with that line and ending with page 4, line 14 and substitute:

SB411-SA4,1,8 "(bn) Issuance system. 1. In issuing wolf harvesting licenses under this subsection, the department shall determine the number of licenses that will be available for a given year. The number of licenses to be issued shall equal an even number.

SB411-SA4,1,11 2. If the number of qualified applications for wolf harvesting licenses exceeds the number of licenses that are available, the department shall issue 50 percent of of the licenses by selecting at random the applicants to be issued the licenses.

SB411-SA4,1,13 3. The department shall issue the remaining 50 percent of the wolf harvesting licenses based on a cumulative preference".

SB411-SA4,2,2 3. Page 5, line 1: delete the material beginning with "A person" and ending with "application" on line 2 and substitute:

SB411-SA4,2,5 "4. The department shall establish a method for dividing the applications into those that will be included in the at-random system and those that will be included in the cumulative preference system.

SB411-SA4,2,7 5. A person applying for a wolf harvesting license shall pay the processing fee at the time of application.".

SB411-SA4,2,8 4. Page 5, line 5: substitute "(bn) 3. " for "(b)".
