ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 2, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 295

AB295-AA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB295-AA2,1,4 1. Page 4, line 19: after "Chapter." insert "Payments made under this subsection may not be expended by the ALS Association, Wisconsin Chapter, for any lobbying activities.".

AB295-AA2,1,8 2. Page 4, line 20: after "(b)" insert "No later than the 30th day after the effective date of this paragraph .... [LRB inserts date], the ALS Association, Wisconsin Chapter, shall submit a copy of its bylaws to the presiding officer of each house of the legislature.".

AB295-AA2,2,2 3. Page 5, line 1: after "(c)" insert "The department may make payments to the ALS Association, Wisconsin Chapter, under this subsection only if the ALS Association, Wisconsin Chapter, first obtains, and provides to the department, an opinion letter from the Internal Revenue Service that the ALS Association, Wisconsin Chapter, is eligible for the exemption from taxation under section 501 (a) of the Internal Revenue Code.".

AB295-AA2,2,5 5. Page 5, line 4: after "Code" insert ", or expends payments made under this subsection for lobbying activities".
