AB489-ASA1-AA2,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

AB489-ASA1-AA2,1,5 21. Page 2, line 7: after "department." insert "The school board shall award a
3pupil who is a career and technical education concentrator one mathematics credit
4for successfully completing in the high school grades a career and technical education
5course that the school board determines satisfies a mathematics requirement.".

AB489-ASA1-AA2,1,9 62. Page 2, line 11: after "department." insert "The school board shall award a
7pupil who is a career and technical education concentrator one science credit for
8successfully completing in the high school grades a career and technical education
9course that the school board determines satisfies a science requirement.".

AB489-ASA1-AA2,1,10 103. Page 2, line 13: after that line insert:

1(1) This act first applies to a high school diploma granted to a pupil in the
22017-18 school year.".
