AB489-ASA1-AA4,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

AB489-ASA1-AA4,1,5 21. Page 2, line 7: after "department." insert "The school board shall award a
3pupil one mathematics credit for successfully completing in the high school grades
4a career and technical education course that the school board determines satisfies
5a mathematics requirement.".

AB489-ASA1-AA4,1,9 62. Page 2, line 11: after "department." insert "The school board shall award a
7pupil one science credit for successfully completing in the high school grades a career
8and technical education course that the school board determines satisfies a science
9requirement.".

AB489-ASA1-AA4,1,10 103. Page 2, line 13: after that line insert:

1(1) This act first applies to a high school diploma granted to a pupil in the
22016-17 school year.".
