ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 493

AB493-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB493-AA1,1,4 1. Page 3, line 9: delete the material beginning with "swear" and ending with "inspector" on line 10 and substitute "sign and submit a statement in the form prescribed by the board affirming".

AB493-AA1,1,8 2. Page 3, line 16: delete the material beginning with "makes" and ending with "affirmation." on line 17 and substitute "submits a statement under subd. 1. shall also swear or affirm in an oath administered by the chief inspector that the statement submitted by the elector is correct to the best of his or her knowledge.".

AB493-AA1,1,9 3. Page 3, line 22: delete "this subdivision" and substitute "subd. 1.".

AB493-AA1,1,10 4. Page 5, line 3: delete " 6.79 (3) (c) 2." and substitute "6.79 (3) (c) 1.".

AB493-AA1,1,11 5. Page 5, line 9: delete "2." and substitute "1.".
