ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 164

AB164-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB164-AA1,1,2 1. Page 5, line 5: delete "15" and substitute " 21".

AB164-AA1,1,3 2. Page 5, line 6: delete " 15" and substitute "21".

AB164-AA1,1,4 3. Page 5, line 17: after that line insert:

AB164-AA1,1,5 " Section 8m. 67.05 (6a) (a) 2. a. of the statutes is amended to read:

AB164-AA1,1,11 67.05 (6a) (a) 2. a. Direct the school district clerk to call a special election for the purpose of submitting the resolution to the electors for approval or rejection, or direct that the resolution be submitted at the next regularly scheduled primary or election to be held not earlier than 45 70 days after the adoption of the resolution. The resolution shall not be effective unless adopted by a majority of the school district electors voting at the referendum.".
