ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 269

AB269-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB269-AA1,1,6 1. Page 3, line 2: after “resolution." insert “The school board may direct the school district clerk to call a special election in the fall of the odd-numbered year for the purpose of submitting the resolution to the electors for approval or rejection, provided the special election is held not earlier than 70 days after the adoption of the resolution.".

AB269-AA1,1,7 2. Page 4, line 10: delete “subd. 2." and substitute “ subds. 2. and 3.".

AB269-AA1,1,8 3. Page 4, line 23: after that line insert:

AB269-AA1,1,9 “ Section 7m. 121.91 (3) (a) 3. of the statutes is created to read:

AB269-AA1,2,2 121.91 (3) (a) 3. The school board of a school district may call a special referendum to be held in the fall of an odd-numbered year, provided the special referendum is to be held not sooner than 70 days after the filing of the resolution of the school board under subd. 1.”.
