AB144-AA2,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
AB144-AA2,1,2 21. Page 3, line 21: after “480" insert “and except as provided in sub. (3)".
AB144-AA2,1,3 32. Page 4, line 21: after that line insert:
AB144-AA2,1,5 4“dm. The individual does not have a disqualifying conviction described in sub.
5(3) (a).”.
AB144-AA2,1,7 63. Page 5, line 22: after “employer" insert “, and the background check did not
7reveal a disqualifying conviction described in sub. (3) (a)".
AB144-AA2,1,8 84. Page 6, line 11: after that line insert:
AB144-AA2,1,11 9(3) Limitations. (a) An individual may not provide services or obtain a
10preliminary health care credential under this section if the individual has ever been
11convicted of any of the following:
AB144-AA2,1,1212 1. A felony.
AB144-AA2,2,2
12. A misdemeanor, the circumstances of which involved the individual causing
2bodily harm to, or having sexual contact with, another individual.
AB144-AA2,2,73 (b) Notwithstanding ss. 111.321, 111.322, and 111.335, par. (a) applies
4regardless of whether the conviction is a conviction based upon which the
5department or credentialing board, as applicable, may deny the individual's
6application for a permanent health care credential or training health care credential
7under sub. (2) (a) 1. g.”.
