AB86-AA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
AB86-AA1,1,2 21. Page 2, line 4: delete that line and substitute:
AB86-AA1,1,4 3“(am) “Direct costs” means costs that an institution bills directly to a student,
4including tuition, fees, and if applicable room and board.”.
AB86-AA1,1,10 52. Page 2, line 6: delete “1087nn." and substitute “1087nn, except that, upon
6implementation of section 702 of the FAFSA Simplification Act, Title VII of Division
7FF of P.L. 116-260, as affected by section 102 of the FAFSA Simplification Act
8Technical Corrections Act, Division R of P.L. 117-103, “expected family contribution”
9shall be determined consistently with requirements for determining the student aid
10index under 20 USC ch. 28.".
