Under current law, all money DNR receives from DNR and other state agencies from certain vehicle and equipment pools is appropriated from the conservation fund to DNR to be used for operation, maintenance, replacement, and purchase of vehicles, equipment, radio services, and information technology. This bill provides that money DNR receives from the sale or lease of these items from local units of government, other states, and nonprofit organizations is also appropriated from the conservation fund to DNR for these purposes, and adds that the money may also be used for supplies.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
Section
1. 20.370 (8) (mt) of the statutes is amended to read:
20.370 (8) (mt) Equipment pool operations and services. All moneys received by the department from the department or from, other state agencies from car, truck, airplane, local units of government, other states, or nonprofit organizations from the sale or lease of cars, trucks, airplanes, supplies, heavy equipment, information technology, or radio pools radios, or from related services, to be used for the operation, maintenance, replacement, and purchase of vehicles, equipment, supplies, radio services, and information technology.
