This bill eliminates the requirement that an applicant must have received an offer to teach in a school located in this state in order to qualify for a license to teach issued by DPI that is based on the applicant holding a license to teach in another state. Similarly, the bill eliminates the requirement that an applicant must have received an offer to be an administrator in a school or school district located in this state in order to qualify for an administrator's license issued by DPI that is based on the applicant holding an administrator's license in another state.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
Section 1. 118.193 (2) (c) of the statutes is repealed.
Section 2. 118.193 (3) (c) of the statutes is repealed.
Section 3. 118.193 (4) (a) of the statutes is repealed.
Section 4. 118.193 (4) (b) of the statutes is renumbered 118.193 (4).
