2003 Senate Joint Resolution 57
ENROLLED JOINT RESOLUTION
Relating to: the life and public service of 1st Lieutenant Jeremy Lee Wolfe.
Whereas, 1st Lieutenant Jeremy Lee Wolfe was born on August 16, 1976, in Menomonie, Wisconsin, and died on November 15, 2003, while transporting soldiers in a helicopter from Tall Afar to Mosul, Iraq; and
Whereas, 1st Lieutenant Wolfe served with distinction and honor as a platoon leader in Alpha Company, 4-101st Aviation Regiment in Tall Afar, Iraq; and
Whereas, 1st Lieutenant Wolfe was a loving husband to Christine and a devoted son to David (Butch) Wolfe and Jane Utpadel; and
Whereas, 1st Lieutenant Wolfe accumulated an impressive list of accomplishments and awards throughout his service in the 25th Infantry Division at the Schofield Barracks in Hawaii, including the Ranger Tab and Air Assault Badge; and
Whereas, 1st Lieutenant Wolfe was awarded the Bronze Star Medal and the Purple Heart after making the ultimate sacrifice for his country; and
Whereas, 1st Lieutenant Wolfe will always be remembered for his bravery, courage, and love of family and friends; now, therefore, be it
Resolved by the senate, the assembly concurring, That the members of the Wisconsin legislature hereby commend the life of 1st Lieutenant Jeremy Lee Wolfe, express their sorrow in his death, and extend their condolences to his family and friends; and, be it further
Resolved, That the senate chief clerk shall provide copies of this joint resolution to 1st Lieutenant Jeremy Lee Wolfe's wife, Christine Tadeo, of Honolulu, Hawaii, and to his father and mother.
