2007 Senate Joint Resolution 31
ENROLLED JOINT RESOLUTION
Relating to: the life and military service of United States Air Force Senior Airman Adam Servais.
Whereas, Senior Airman Adam Servais was born on September 1, 1982, in La Crosse, Wisconsin, to Pete and Susan Servais, and died on August 19, 2006, of injuries sustained in combat from enemy action in Afghanistan; and
Whereas, Senior Airman Adam Servais was a 2001 graduate of Onalaska High School and enlisted in the United States Air Force in 2002; and
Whereas, Senior Airman Adam Servais served with distinction in the elite 23rd Special Tactics Squadron, where he served as a combat controller, and earned his combat controller red beret in June of 2003, and was in his second tour of duty in the Middle East; and
Whereas, Senior Airman Adam Servais's family and fellow citizens are very proud of him and know that he died honorably serving the nation; and
Whereas, Senior Airman Adam Servais embodied the Air Force's core values of "integrity first, service before self, and excellence in all we do" and he is sorely missed; now, therefore, be it
Resolved by the senate, the assembly concurring, That the legislature of the state of Wisconsin commemorates the remarkable life of United States Air Force Senior Airman Adam Servais and extends its deepest sympathies to his family, friends, and colleagues; and, be it further
Resolved, That the senate chief clerk shall transmit a copy of this joint resolution to his parents, Pete and Susan Servais.
