Robert Chicks, President of the Stockbridge-Munsee Community and President of the Great Lakes Inter-Tribal Council will address the Wisconsin State Assembly for the 4th Annual State of the Tribes Address on Tuesday, February 26, 2008, at 12:00 p.m. I would like to take this opportunity to invite the members of the State Senate to join us for this historic event.
The State of the Tribes Address is a wonderful opportunity to enhance the relationship between state and tribal lawmakers and provide a better appreciation of the challenges our governments must face.
