Announcements, Adjournment Honors, and Remarks Under Special Privilege
Senator Kedzie, with unanimous consent, asked that when the Senate adjourn, it do so in memory of Mr. Ron Siedelmann of Delavan, Wisconsin. Ron was born on September 7, 1943 in Fort Sill, Oklahoma and died on February 19, 2011 in Delavan. Ron, along with his wife Camille, owned and operated the Ben Franklin store from 1990 to 2003, and he was very active in his local community and church. For more than 12 years, he dedicated his efforts as alderperson to the City of Delavan, serving on many boards and commissions. Ron was the grand marshal and organizer of the Delavan 4th of July parade for a number of years. He was an avid fisherman and a Hospice Volunteer, a U.S. Air Force Veteran, having served in Viet Nam, and active in the American Legion Post #95. He was a charter member of the Optimists Club, "Mr. Bingo" at many of the area nursing homes, and loved serving the Senior community. Ron will be remembered for his unselfish dedication to his community, his country, his church and to those in need. He is survived by his wife, Camille and three sons, and will be missed by his many family members and friends.
