AB315,1,2 1An Act to amend 565.10 (14) (b) of the statutes; relating to: lottery retailer
2compensation.

This bill increases the compensation paid to a person who sells lottery tickets
from 5% to 6% of the retail price of the lottery ticket or lottery share sold by that
person.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB315, s. 1 3Section 1. 565.10 (14) (b) of the statutes is amended to read:
AB315,1,94 565.10 (14) (b) The basic compensation to be paid to a retailer is 5% 6% of the
5retail price of lottery tickets or lottery shares sold by the retailer. The commission
6may, in the rules promulgated under s. 565.02 (4) (f), provide for the payment of a
7higher rate of compensation to nonprofit organizations making sales under a
8contract issued on a temporary basis than the rate of compensation paid to other
9retailers.

3publication.
