This bill requires the department of employe trust funds and the department
of health and social services to submit a report to the secretary of administration by
December 1, 1995, proposing the most cost-effective way to allow a person's benefits
under the Wisconsin retirement system to be assigned to another person pursuant
to a court order regarding certain child or family support payments.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

AB529,1,9 4(1) Assignment of benefits report. The department of employe trust funds
5and the department of health and social services shall jointly submit a report to the
6secretary of administration by December 1, 1995, proposing the most cost-effective
7way to allow a person's benefits under the Wisconsin retirement system to be
8assigned to another person pursuant to a court order under section 767.265 of the
9statutes.
