This joint resolution creates a bipartisan special joint committee on 1995
Assembly Bill 591 that creates a new public assistance program called Wisconsin
works. The committee consists of 12 members, 3 from each party in each house.
AJR76,1,3 3Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That:
AJR76, s. 1 4Section 1. Creation of Joint Special Committee. Upon the adoption of this
5joint resolution by the assembly and the concurrence therein by the senate, there is
6created a 12- member bipartisan special joint committee on 1995 Assembly Bill 591.
7The committee shall consist of 3 senators who are members of the majority party
8appointed as are the members of senate standing committees, 3 senators who are
9members of the minority party appointed by the senate minority leader, 3
10representatives to the assembly who are members of the majority party appointed
11as are the members of assembly standing committees, and 3 representatives to the
12assembly who are members of the minority party appointed by the assembly
13minority leader. The senate majority leader shall designate one of the senators as

1senate cochairperson and the speaker of the assembly shall designate one of the
2representatives as assembly cochairperson.

4on 1995 Assembly Bill 591 to both houses of the legislature.
