AJR88,1,32 Whereas, Kyle Kenyon was born in Wyeville, Wisconsin, on March 22, 1924, and
3died at his home on Wednesday, March 6, 1996; and
AJR88,1,54 Whereas, he graduated from Tomah High School and the University of
5Wisconsin Law School and practiced law for 45 years; and
AJR88,1,76 Whereas, Kyle Kenyon served 7 terms in the Wisconsin state assembly,
7representing the citizens of the 92nd assembly district from 1957 to 1970; and
AJR88,1,98 Whereas, Kyle Kenyon served as the assistant republican leader and on
9numerous prominent committees in the Wisconsin legislature; and
AJR88,1,1110 Whereas, Kyle Kenyon was a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S.
11army and army air corps from 1943 to 1946; and
AJR88,1,1312 Whereas, he served as the Monroe County Veterans Service Officer for 12 years
13and as a family court commissioner for Monroe County; and
AJR88,1,1614 Whereas, Kyle Kenyon was an active member of numerous veteran and local
15civic organizations, to which he selflessly contributed and gave back to his
16community; now, therefore, be it

1Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the members of the
2Wisconsin legislature recognize the years of public service of Kyle Kenyon and note
3their appreciation for his contributions, express their sorrow at his death and extend
4their condolences to his family and friends; and, be it further
AJR88,2,7 5Resolved, That the assembly chief clerk shall provide a copy of this joint
6resolution to Kyle Kenyon's wife, Xena; to his sons, Charles and John; and to his
7daughters, Kathleen, Liz and Helen.
