proposed administrative rule referred to the committee if so requested by one-third
of the members of the committee.

AR24, s. 1 5Section 1. Assembly rule 11 (9), as affected by 1995 Assembly Resolution 2,
6is renumbered assembly rule 11 (9) (a) and amended to read:
AR24,1,107 Assembly Rule 11 (9) (a) The chairperson shall determine, subject to par. (b),
8when proposals or other business will be scheduled for public hearing or executive
9action, and, subject to rule 17m, when committee actions shall be reported to the
10assembly.
AR24, s. 2 11Section 2. Assembly rule 11 (9) (b) is created to read:
AR24,2,312 Assembly Rule 11 (9) (b) The chairperson of a committee shall publish or post
13 a notice of a hearing to review a proposed administrative rule referred to the
14committee if one-third of the members of the committee, in writing, so request the

1chairperson within the rule's 30-day review period under section 227.19 (4) of the
2statutes. If so requested, the chairperson shall publish or post the notice within the
3rule's 30-day review period under section 227.19 (4) of the statutes.
AR24, s. 3 4Section 3. Assembly rule 14 (1) is amended to read:
AR24,2,75 Assembly Rule 14 (1) Any proposal referred to a committee, and any other
6business relevant to its title, may at the discretion of the chairperson , subject to
7assembly rule 11 (9) (b),
be scheduled for public hearing.
