SB381,1,2 1An Act to create 49.46 (2) (b) 1. hm. of the statutes; relating to: removable
2prosthodontic services under medical assistance and making an appropriation.

1995 Wisconsin Act 27 repealed medical assistance coverage of removable
prosthodontic services, effective July 29, 1995. This bill restores medical assistance
coverage of removable prosthodontic services retroactive to that date.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
SB381, s. 1 3Section 1. 49.46 (2) (b) 1. hm. of the statutes is created to read:
SB381,1,44 49.46 (2) (b) 1. hm. Removable prosthodontic services.
SB381, s. 2 5Section 2. Appropriation changes.
SB381,1,11 6(1) Medical assistance. In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes
7for the appropriation to the department of health and social services under section
820.435 (1) (b) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 1995, the dollar amount is
9increased by $1,365,600 for fiscal year 1995-96 and the dollar amount is increased
10by $1,366,000 for fiscal year 1996-97 to fund increased medical assistance costs
11resulting from making payments for removable prosthodontic services.

SB381,2,2 2(1) This act takes effect retroactively to July 29, 1995.
