Under current law, the shining of most wild animals is prohibited with certain
exceptions. This bill allows the shining of rough fish by a person who is fishing for
rough fish with a bow or a crossbow.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
SB412, s. 1 3Section 1. 29.245 (4) (b) 3. of the statutes is created to read:
SB412,1,54 29.245 (4) (b) 3. To a person who possesses a flashlight or who uses a flashlight
5to fish for rough fish with a bow or a crossbow.
SB412, s. 2 6Section 2. 29.245 (5) (b) 4m. of the statutes is created to read:
