1An Act relating to: position authorizations for the office of the commissioner of
2railroads.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Under current law, the office of the commissioner of railroads (OCR) is assigned
functions relating to railroad regulation. These functions include the collection of
assessments from railroads, matters relating to railroad crossing safety and those
functions having the character of contested case resolution.
This bill increases the position authorizations for OCR by 2.75 PR positions.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

Position authorizations. The authorized FTE positions for the office of the
5commissioner of railroads, funded from the appropriation under section 20.155 (2)
6(g) of the statutes, are increased by 2.75 PR positions.
