SJR12,1,2 Relating to: requesting the federal Environmental Protection Agency to suspend the requirement that reformulated gasoline be sold in Southeastern Wisconsin.

SJR12,1,5 Whereas, reformulated gasoline is causing illness among motorists in Southeastern Wisconsin — many people have complained of headaches, dizziness and nausea; and

SJR12,1,9 Whereas, hundreds of people have reported that reformulated gasoline has caused a marked reduction in the performance of their automobiles and small engines, with some reports of mileage decreases as high as 25%; now, therefore, be it

SJR12,1,13 Resolved by the senate, the Assembly concurring, That the members of the Wisconsin legislature request Carol Browner, administrator of the federal Environmental Protection Agency, to suspend indefinitely the requirement that reformulated gasoline be sold in Southeastern Wisconsin; and, be it further

SJR12,1,16 Resolved, That the senate chief clerk shall provide a copy of this joint resolution to Administrator Browner and to each member of this state's congressional delegation.
