Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Under the joint rules of the legislature, the only persons authorized to use the
drafting services of the legislative reference bureau are members and
members-elect of the legislature, agencies of Wisconsin state government and the
chief clerk of either house for drafting requests pertaining to the operation of the
legislature.
This joint resolution removes the privilege to use the drafting services from
agencies of Wisconsin state government.
