8Committee, and the Labor Committee; and

Whereas, he was a member of the Elks and the Tripoli Temple; and

Whereas, his association with the Clown Unit of the Tripoli Shrine led to the
11creation of his alter ego "Shakey" who delighted many children; and

Whereas, Robert Behnke is fondly remembered by his former colleagues and
13friends in the legislature; now, therefore, be it

14Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the members of the
15Wisconsin legislature commend the devoted public service Robert Behnke gave to
1this state, express their sorrow at his death and extend condolences to his family and
2friends; and, be it further
