SB215,1,2 1An Act to create 196.637 of the statutes; relating to: deferred payment
2agreements between public utilities and customers.

Under this bill, if a public utility and a customer make a deferred payment
agreement regarding a delinquent account, the public utility may not report the
delinquency to a credit reporting agency unless the customer fails to comply with the
agreement.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
SB215, s. 1 3Section 1. 196.637 of the statutes is created to read:
SB215,1,7 4196.637 Deferred payment agreements. If a public utility and a customer
5enter into a deferred payment agreement regarding a delinquent account, the public
6utility may not report the delinquency to a credit reporting agency unless the
7customer fails to comply with agreement.
