SB222,1,2 1An Act to amend 347.50 (1); and to create 347.50 (4m) of the statutes; relating

mufflers on motorcycles and providing a penalty.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Under current law, a person who operates a motorcycle without a functioning
muffler may be required to pay a forfeiture of not less than $10 nor more than $200.
This bill raises the forfeiture for operating a motorcycle without a functioning
muffler to not less than $100 nor more than $300.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
SB222, s. 1 3Section 1. 347.50 (1) of the statutes is amended to read:
