2to: advertisements of auctions conducted by registered Wisconsin auctioneers

Under current law, a person may not advertise an auction that is conducted by
a person who is registered as a auctioneer by the department of regulation and
licensing (DORL) unless the advertisement includes a statement that the auctioneer
is a "registered Wisconsin auctioneer". This bill allows DORL to promulgate rules
that allow a person to abbreviate "registered Wisconsin auctioneer" for purposes of
the statement.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

7under s. 480.20 (2).

"Registered Wisconsin auctioneer" may be abbreviated as
