AJR38,1,2 Relating to: recognizing Ben Brancel for his 16 years of dedication and commitment to the state of Wisconsin and its people.

AJR38,1,5 Whereas, on this day the people of Wisconsin would like to take time to recognize Ben Brancel for his 16 years of dedication and commitment to the state of Wisconsin and its people; and

AJR38,1,7 Whereas, Ben has earned the respect and admiration of those with whom he has worked and the public he has served; and

AJR38,1,9 Whereas, his tenure as speaker of the assembly will long be remembered for strong bipartisanship leadership; and

AJR38,1,11 Whereas, the department of agriculture, trade and consumer protection gained national recognition in light of his tireless work; and

AJR38,1,14 Whereas, this occasion will serve as a reminder that we should take time and reflect on the many accomplishments and applaud the contribution that Ben has achieved, which are remarkable examples for all to follow; and

AJR38,2,4 Whereas, we extend best wishes and sincere appreciation for his many years of service, as representative to the assembly, member and cochairperson of the joint committee on finance, speaker of the assembly, and secretary of agriculture, trade and consumer protection, to the state of Wisconsin as a whole; now, therefore, be it

AJR38,2,7 Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the members of the Wisconsin legislature commend Ben Brancel on jobs well done and wish him the best in the future; and, be it further

AJR38,2,9 Resolved, That the assembly chief clerk shall provide a copy of this joint resolution to Ben Brancel.
