AJR97,1,32 Whereas, approximately 46,000 Wisconsin youths are active participants in the
3Wisconsin 4-H youth development program; and
AJR97,1,74 Whereas, the Wisconsin 4-H youth development program is part of a
5nationwide effort providing a wealth of opportunities to rural and urban youths by
6providing them with supportive environments to enhance their personal
7development and leadership skills; and
AJR97,1,108 Whereas, Wisconsin's youths are leaders in the nation with their participation
9in citizenship and civic education programs that enable them to enrich and improve
10the environment and their communities through public service; and
AJR97,1,1311 Whereas, Wisconsin 4-H is leading the nation by pledging over 213,000 hours
12of additional community service in honor of the National 4-H Centennial
13Celebration; now, therefore, be it
AJR97,2,3 14Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the Wisconsin
15legislature commends the Wisconsin 4-H youths who have enhanced the quality of

1life for Wisconsin citizens by their involvement in the Wisconsin 4-H youth
2development program and by continuing to be leaders in the nation in their
3dedication to public service.
