Assembly Rule 98: This rule is created to limit campaign depository account
balances to an amount equal to the sum of the disbursements from the account and
an amount equal to the campaign disbursement level for candidates for
representative to the assembly.

AR11,1,5 5Assembly Rule 98. Campaign contributions. (1) In this rule:
AR11,1,76 (a) "Campaign depository account" means a campaign depository account
7required by section 11.10 of the statutes.
AR11,1,98 (b) "Contribution," "legislative campaign committee," and "personal campaign
9committee" have the meanings given for the terms in section 11.01 of the statutes.
AR11,2,310 (2) A legislative leader may not deposit in a campaign depository account or
11authorize a legislative campaign committee to deposit in a campaign depository

1account; and a member may not deposit in a campaign depository account or
2authorize the member's personal campaign committee to deposit in a campaign
3depository account; an amount that is greater than the sum of the following:
AR11,2,44 (a) The disbursements from the account; and
AR11,2,65 (b) An amount equal to the campaign disbursement level for candidates for
6representative to the assembly under section 11.31 of the statutes.
