SB314,1,2 1An Act to create 38.12 (3) (e) of the statutes; relating to: the salaries of
2technical college instructors.

This bill requires that the salary and fringe benefits of a technical college
instructor who is employed on a part-time basis be prorated based on the salary and
fringe benefits that the instructor would receive if he or she were employed full time.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
SB314, s. 1 3Section 1. 38.12 (3) (e) of the statutes is created to read:
SB314,1,74 38.12 (3) (e) If a district board employs an instructor on a part-time basis, the
5district board shall ensure that the person's salary and fringe benefits are prorated
6based on the salary and fringe benefits that the person would receive if he or she were
7employed by the district board as an instructor on a full-time basis.

1(1) This act first applies to employees who are affected by a collective
2bargaining agreement that contains provisions inconsistent with this act on the day
3on which the collective bargaining agreement expires or is extended, modified, or
4renewed, whichever occurs first.
