1An Act to amend 38.12 (3) (a) 1. of the statutes;
relating to: the salary of the
2district director of a technical college.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Current law directs each technical college district board to employ and fix the
compensation of a district director, who is responsible for the general supervision and
management of the district schools.
This bill provides that the district director's salary may not exceed the amount
paid the governor.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

1. 38.12 (3) (a) 1. of the statutes is amended to read:

1(1) This act first applies to any employment contract that is inconsistent with
2this act on the day on which the contract expires or is extended, modified, or renewed,
3whichever occurs first.
