1An Act to create 36.09 (2) (c) and 36.09 (3) (c) of the statutes;
relating to:
2prohibiting University of Wisconsin System administrators from serving on the
3board of directors of certain corporations.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
This bill prohibits the president of the University of Wisconsin System (UWS),
each UWS chancellor, and certain other high-level UWS administrators from
serving on the board of directors of corporations with which the UWS is doing
business.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

(2) (c) Neither the president nor any vice president, associate president,
6or assistant president of the system may serve on the board of directors of a
7corporation with which the system, an institution, or a college campus has a
8contractual or business relationship.
