1An Act to create 15.497 (2) (e), 15.497 (2) (f), 15.497 (2) (g) and 15.497 (2) (h) of

relating to: adding additional members to the Council on
3Veterans Programs.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Under current law the Council on Veterans Programs (council) advises the
Board of Veterans Affairs and the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) on solutions
and policy alternatives relating to the problems of veterans. The council is attached
to DVA and consists of members of various veterans organizations, all of whom are
appointed for one-year terms.
This bill adds one representative of each of the following to the council:
1. The Military Officers Association of America.
2. The National Gulf War Resource Center.
3. The Retired Enlisted Association.
4. The Wisconsin State Association of County Veterans Service Commissions.

an appendix to this bill.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
