1. Senate chief clerk elected. The following person is an officer of
5the 2003-2004 senate, as elected by the senate through the adoption of this
6resolution:

2. Transmittal to assembly and governor. Immediately upon the
9adoption of this resolution, the chief clerk shall transmit copies thereof to the
10assembly and to the governor, notifying both that Robert J. Marchant is the senate
11chief clerk.
