AB1070,1,2 1An Act to amend 59.58 (6) (bm) of the statutes; relating to: the Regional Transit

Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Under current law, the counties of Kenosha, Milwaukee, and Racine must
create a regional transit authority. The authority is responsible for the coordination
of highway and transit programs within these counties. The governing body of the
authority consists of seven members. No action may be taken by the authority unless
at least six members vote to approve the action.
Under this bill, the authority may take action if five members vote to approve
the action.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
