AJR53,1,43 Whereas, Terry A. Rhodes retired as the assistant director of the Legislative
4Fiscal Bureau on August 12, 2005; and
AJR53,1,6 5Whereas, Terry A. Rhodes began his service to Wisconsin on June 15, 1964, as
6an administrative analyst with the Department of Resource Development; and
AJR53,1,87 Whereas, Terry A. Rhodes joined the staff of the Legislative Fiscal Bureau on
8October 17, 1966, as one of the initial fiscal analysts of the bureau; and
AJR53,1,10 9Whereas, Terry A. Rhodes was instrumental in the organization, development,
10and work of the Legislative Fiscal Bureau; and
AJR53,1,12 11Whereas, Terry A. Rhodes became the assistant director of the Legislative
12Fiscal Bureau on January 1, 1972; and
AJR53,1,14 13Whereas, Terry A. Rhodes served as supervisor and mentor for staff of the
14Legislative Fiscal Bureau for 39 years; and

1Whereas, Terry A. Rhodes was a participant in, and contributor to, the
2activities of the National Conference of State Legislatures, the National Association
3of Legislative Fiscal Officers, and the Western States Legislative Fiscal Officers
4Association; and
AJR53,2,8 5Whereas, Terry A. Rhodes ably assisted legislators, the Joint Committee on
6Finance, and the entire Wisconsin legislature during its deliberations on 20 biennial
7state budgets, numerous budget adjustments, and countless bills, resolutions, fiscal
8notes, and administrative rules; and
AJR53,2,11 9Whereas, throughout his career, Terry A. Rhodes conducted himself with
10integrity, dignity, and professionalism, and served the legislature and state
11government with honor and distinction; now, therefore, be it
AJR53,2,14 12Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the members of the
13Wisconsin legislature commend Terry A. Rhodes on his career, dedication,
14accomplishments, and service to the citizens of Wisconsin; and, be it further
AJR53,2,17 15Resolved, That the assembly chief clerk shall provide copies of this joint
16resolution to Terry A. Rhodes and his wife, Diane, and to his daughters, Tracey,
17Heather, and Allison.
