Whereas, Bob has served on the Big Brother Big Sisters Board of Directors for
331 years; and

Whereas, Bob was honored for his dedication to the Big Brother Big Sisters
5program by the Downtown Madison Rotary by receiving the 24th annual Manfred
6E. Swarsensky Humanitarian Service Award; and

Whereas, Bob has served as a Big Brother for over 35 years serving as a mentor
8for a number of young men; and

Whereas, Bob continued his role as a member of the Board of Directors while
10serving the state as an analyst for the Legislative Fiscal Bureau since 1971 and as
11the Director of the Bureau since 1977; now, therefore, be it

12Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the members of the
13Wisconsin legislature commend Bob Lang on receiving this award and on his
14continued commitment to the Big Brother Big Sisters program and to the state of
15Wisconsin; and, be it further
