Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau

mobility device, or a moped may travel on most roadways. However, no one may
operate any of these vehicles on a roadway where a sign is erected indicating that
bicycle, electric personal assistive mobility device, or moped riding is prohibited.
This bill allows the Department of Transportation to establish, by
administrative rule, exceptions to the prohibition for charitable organizations that
sponsor bicycling events.
