SJR30,1,53 Whereas, Agri-View was founded on June 20, 1975, in Marshfield, Wisconsin,
4and has become the largest weekly newspaper in Wisconsin serving the state's
5number one industry—agriculture; and
SJR30,1,86 Whereas, Agri-View's forefathers and dedicated staff had the insight and
7vision to create a communication vehicle to serve those who share a commitment to
8Wisconsin and its agricultural heritage and future; and
SJR30,1,119 Whereas, Agri-View has been an integral asset in the development of
10Wisconsin's agricultural industry, becoming a source of information and guidance for
11the community, production agriculture, and the Wisconsin farmer; and
SJR30,1,1412 Whereas, Agri-View has become an industry partner and respected instrument
13of up-to-date capital news, compelling livestock topics, cutting-edge dairy coverage,
14timely crop reports, and management tools for today's operations; and

1Whereas, Agri-View continues to develop and challenge tomorrow's
2agribusiness leaders and producers to share pride in their endeavors and
3contributions to our state's and the nation's economy; now, therefore, be it
SJR30,2,7 4Resolved by the senate, the assembly concurring, That the members of the
5Wisconsin legislature honor Agri-View for its 30-year dedication to the state and its
6agricultural community and express their gratitude for the newspaper's unwavering
7support of the Wisconsin producer and industry.
