SJR1,1,1 1Relating to: the life and military service of Pfc. Isaiah R. Hunt.
SJR1,1,42 Whereas, Army Pfc. Isaiah R. Hunt was born Jan. 17, 1984, in Ortonville,
3Minnesota, to Michael A. Hunt and Pamela J. Hunt, and died on Nov. 14, 2004, while
4serving his country in Baghdad, Iraq; and
SJR1,1,85 Whereas, Pfc. Hunt graduated from Bay Port High School in Green Bay,
6Wisconsin, and entered the United States Army in July of 2003 where he was
7assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and was
8deployed to Iraq in June, 2004; and
SJR1,1,119 Whereas, Pfc. Hunt joined the military to better himself and prepare for college
10and he, along with his family, was very proud of his job as a driver and gunner in Iraq;
11and
SJR1,1,1412 Whereas, Pfc. Hunt was always concerned about the well-being of other people,
13particularly his family, and had a passion for computers, gaming, and the outdoors,
14and his favorite place was home; and

1Whereas, Pfc. Hunt embodied the United States Army core values of loyalty,
2duty, respect, selfless service, honor, integrity, and personal courage and he will be
3sorely missed; now, therefore, be it
SJR1,2,7 4Resolved by the senate, the assembly concurring, That the legislature of
5the state of Wisconsin commemorates the remarkable life of Pfc. Isaiah R. Hunt and
6extends its deepest sympathies to his family, friends, and colleagues; and, be it
7further
SJR1,2,12 8Resolved, That the senate chief clerk shall transmit a copy of this resolution
9to Pfc. Hunt's mother, Pam Hunt, and her husband, Dan Bodart, and Dan's three
10children, Brandi, Nathan, and Morgan Bodart; his father, Mike Hunt, and his wife,
11Cully; his two brothers, Andrew and Jonah; his two sisters, Emily and Elsie; and his
12grandparents, John and Phyllis Ohnstad.
