AB450,1,2 1An Act to create 1.14 of the statutes; relating to: flying of the United States

This bill requires that each state agency, state authority, and local
governmental unit in this state ensure that each United States flag that is flown at
each building, structure, or facility that is owned or occupied entirely by the agency,
authority, or unit is manufactured in the United States. The bill does not specify a
penalty for violations, but the bill's provisions are enforceable through the court
system.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB450, s. 1 3Section 1. 1.14 of the statutes is created to read:
AB450,1,5 41.14 Flying of flag at public buildings, structures, and facilities. (1) In
5this section:
AB450,1,66 (a) "Local governmental unit" has the meaning given in s. 16.97 (7).

1(b) "State agency" has the meaning given for "agency" under s. 16.70 (1e).
AB450,2,22 (c) "State authority" has the meaning given for "authority" under s. 16.70 (2).
