1An Act to amend 350.12 (3j) (b) of the statutes;
relating to: increasing the fee
2for a snowmobile trail use sticker.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
With limited exceptions, snowmobile trail use stickers issued by the
Department of Natural Resources are required on all snowmobiles that are operated
in this state but not registered in this state. Currently, the total fee for this sticker,
including the issuing fee, is $18.00. This bill increases the total fee to $35.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

(3j) (b) The fee for a trail use sticker issued for a snowmobile that is
5exempt from registration under sub. (2) (b) or (bn) is
$17.25 $34.25. A trail use
6sticker issued for such a snowmobile may be issued only by the department and
7persons appointed by the department and expires on June 30 of each year.
