Whereas, the Aquinas High School football team won the Wisconsin Division
45 High School State Championship, defeating Kewaunee High School 27-0 on
5November 15, 2007, in Madison, Wisconsin; and

Whereas, this win marked the first WIAA state football championship and
7third state title for the Aquinas High School football team under Head Coach Dan
8Coughlin; and

Whereas, Coach Coughlin was named the "Coulee Region Coach of the Year" for

Whereas, the team finished the season with an impressive record of 12-2; and

Whereas, throughout the season, the Aquinas High School Blugolds thrilled
13their fans, inspired their student body, and brought pride to the La Crosse
