SJR31,1,2 1Relating to: the life and military service of United States Air Force Senior Airman
2Adam Servais.
SJR31,1,53 Whereas, Senior Airman Adam Servais was born on September 1, 1982, in La
4Crosse, Wisconsin, to Pete and Susan Servais, and died on August 19, 2006, of
5injuries sustained in combat from enemy action in Afghanistan; and
SJR31,1,76 Whereas, Senior Airman Adam Servais was a 2001 graduate of Onalaska High
7School and enlisted in the United States Air Force in 2002; and
SJR31,1,118 Whereas, Senior Airman Adam Servais served with distinction in the elite 23rd
9Special Tactics Squadron, where he served as a combat controller, and earned his
10combat controller red beret in June of 2003, and was in his second tour of duty in the
11Middle East; and
SJR31,1,1312 Whereas, Senior Airman Adam Servais's family and fellow citizens are very
13proud of him and know that he died honorably serving the nation; and

1Whereas, Senior Airman Adam Servais embodied the Air Force's core values of
2"integrity first, service before self, and excellence in all we do" and he is sorely
3missed; now, therefore, be it
SJR31,2,7 4Resolved by the senate, the assembly concurring, That the legislature of
5the state of Wisconsin commemorates the remarkable life of United States Air Force
6Senior Airman Adam Servais and extends its deepest sympathies to his family,
7friends, and colleagues; and, be it further
SJR31,2,9 8Resolved, That the senate chief clerk shall transmit a copy of this joint
9resolution to his parents, Pete and Susan Servais.
