AJR99,1,109 Whereas, Barbara A. Bitters serves on the executive committee of the National
10Alliance for Partnerships in Equity; and
AJR99,1,1211 Whereas, Barbara A. Bitters served in the Wisconsin Department of Public
12Instruction as the special advisor on Women's Issues and Vocational Equity; and
AJR99,1,1413 Whereas, Barbara A. Bitters was co-director of the National Leadership
14Development Conference for Vocational Sex Equity Coordinators; and

4and other underrepresented groups in STEM Careers; now, therefore, be it
AJR99,2,8 5Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That in appreciation of
6Barbara A. Bitters' accomplishments and humanitarian activities, the Wisconsin
7legislature hereby commends Barbara A. Bitters on her accomplishments and
8wishes her well in her retirement; and, be it further
AJR99,2,10 9Resolved, That the assembly chief clerk shall transmit a copy of this joint
10resolution to Barbara A. Bitters.
